Hello, my name is David Ranscombe, and I am the President and CEO of Personal Pet Care Services, Inc.
I was born in England and came to the United States in 1969, where I found my home here in Atlanta, GA.
During my childhood years, I was always blessed with having pets in the family, all of which were my best friends. Like so many other children I was fortunate to have enjoyed the companionship of puppies, kittens, birds, fish, and rabbits, all who grew up with lots of love and attention, but more importantly gave back unconditional love to me day after day. Unfortunately, their life spans are so much shorter than ours, and saying goodbye to them was always so very hard to do. I currently have two beautiful dogs, Missy, a apricot chow, and Magnum, a border collie mix. Both are rescue animals who are the love of my life along with the chosen work that I now do.
After working for twenty years with one company in "Corporate America", I was notified in 1996 that my job was being eliminated and that my services were no longer required. I was at a time in my life that a change in employment was not going to be easy. I knew that this was going to be the beginning of the rest of my life and so I started to look at other alternatives and opportunities that I would enjoy doing. One thing kept coming to mind, and that was my love for animals and so I started to investigate all of the different possibilities that existed in caring for them, and after considering several career opportunities I finally settled on "In Home Pet Sitting".
"Personal Pet Care Services" became my new beginning. I have been very blessed with the formation of this company and it's growth. I love the work that I do, because there is no other job in the world where you receive unconditional love all day long, every single day.
Larry Hobbs is my assistant, and has been actively involved with "Personal Pet Care Services" since it's conception. I have personally known Larry for 29 years.
Larry is a native of Panama City Fla, where he lived until he joined the US Navy. He spent 4 years serving in the navy after which he settled here in Atlanta, GA, where he took a job with a local bank. Thirty years later, Larry took early retirement from the bank, and started to take an interest in the formation of "Personal Pet Care Services". Like myself, Larry had grown up with many different pets, caring and loving each and every one of them, and I am very fortunate to have him as a staff member of this company.
I would like to personally thank you for visiting our web site. I hope that we can be of service to you, and that you will give us the opportunity and the pleasure to answer any or all of your questions.
